Fructose Sodium Diphosphate for Injection
Strength: 5g , 10.0g, calculated on C6H11Na3O12P2.
Indication:
This product is suitable for low hyperphosphatemia. Low hyperphosphatemia could occur in acute situations, such as blood transfusions, surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass, parenteral nutrition, but also related to chronic diseases, such as chronic alcoholism, chronic malnutrition, the depletion of carbonic acid during chronic respiratory failure.
Dosage and Administration
Dosage: suggested dosage: 5~10g per day. The dosage for the treatment of low hyperphosphatemia, should be based on the degree of lake of Phosphate in order to avoid excess phosphate. It is recommended to divide bigger dosage into 2 times of administration per day. For children, the dosage should be based on the weight (70~160mg/kg), do not excess suggested dosage.
Administration: Dissolve 1g powder with 10ml of sterilized water for injection, and then inject solution after mixing by Intravenous infusion (around 10ml/min).
The solution after mixing must be a single dose. Discard any unused portion.
Adverse reaction
When the intravenous input speed exceeds 10ml/min, the patient can appear blushing, palpitation, and formication in hands and foots.
If adverse reactions are found, the patient should inform the doctor. There are few reports of allergic reactions and anaphylactic shock. If an allergic reaction occurs, the drug should be discontinued immediately and treated with anti allergy.
Treatment of anaphylactic shock: stop medication and monitor blood pressure;
Treatment of shock: Intravenous injection of antihistamines, etc.
Contraindications
Patient intolerant to heredity of fructose, person has hypersensitivity to product, hyperphosphatemia and renal failure patients, and the person has hypersensitivity to fructose are forbidden.
Precautions
Observed directly with the naked eye to estimate the special situation before administration .Slightly yellowing does not affect the efficacy.
Medication precautions: Pain and local irritation can be caused when the physic liquor extravasate to subcutaneous during injection.
Special warning
Patients with creatinine clearance rate of less than 50ml/min should monitor the blood phosphate levels.Children can be used only when necessary and under strict guidance of physician.
Keep out of reach of children.
Drug interactions
The product cannot be Shared with the drugs insoluble in pH of 3.5 ~ 5.8 or alkaline solution of high calcium salt.
Overdose
The experiment was not carried out and no literature reference was available.

Sealed , store in a cool place with temperature not above 20°C.

Glass Infusion bottle, 1 bottle/box (every box contains 1 bottle of Fructose Sodium Diphosphate for Injection with 1 bottle of sterilized water for injection(100 ml for 10g, 50ml for 5g) and one set of single-use sterile transfusion needle.
